NER (India’s Northeast Region)
in its latest claim has demanded fair governance from the governing body as returnee
scientists future lay bleak due to limited infrastructure equipped with latest lab equipment and inappropriate fund management in eight states.
As revealed on National
Science Day on 28th February there is no adequate environment for promotion of science
and technology in North East's eight states according to some scientists.
Especially the remote areas are debarred from required set up for proper scientific
processing due to bad road which badly impacts on fulfilling timely demand of equipment supply.
