Scam game is possible as inappropriate
usage of Rs 2,000 crore from the fund allocated to Social Welfare Department
(SWD) was detected prior any full-fledged investigation due to which Asom Gana
Parishad’s legislator of BJP-led Assam government’s alliance partner demanded
CBI probe.
In reaction to CBI inquiry the Parliamentary Affairs Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary replied that the figure
estimation could not be judged on media assumption and will process exact
figure on Social Welfare Department’s scam allegation holding connection to
three central schemes.
