Communications Ltd’s chase to merge with Aircel in the attempt to receive
better market share.
Bharti Airtel is currently
on the move to gain Aircel's spectrum in-order to position it as pan-India 4G
operator with Rs 3500 corer investment for 4G airwaves connectivity in eight
circles of India to compete with Reliance Jio Infocomm.

that ‘Bharti Airtel’ along with its subsidiary Bharti Hexacom are into a deal to
enable 20 MHz of 2300 Band 4G spectrum with Aircel Ltd and its subsidiaries.
Airtel’s 4G in 2300
Mhz band connectivity that will be processed in eight circles of India are like Tamil Nadu, Jammu & Kashmir, Bihar,
Assam, North East, Orissa, Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal states. The validity
of Aircel's 4G airwaves is expected to remain till 20th September, 2030.
On an advance note Reliance
Communications Ltd. has merged with Aircel to hold spectrum in four circles
like Assam, North East, Tamil Nadu & Chennai and Jammu & Kashmir. In
this attempt Aircel will gravitate 50 percent each in each new company.
