Historically this pious event Ambubachi festival is ritually observed till date but the government has to go hi-tech in facility arrangement and security measure to evade untoward incident including proper regulation of the crowd.

Drastically the flow of people during Ambubachi festive period have increased and so as the cases of mishaps. Currently the government and temple authorities have jointly launched a website to guide devotees with accurate information on the event and temple.

The Nilchal Hill upon which the temple erects is made tobacco free zone for the ease of crowd and to minimal health issues. Even24x7 electricity to selective areas like temples, internal roads and approach roads are facilitated by the government. Security measures go hi-tech with max coverage of CCTV cameras to find footage of crime.

To evade possible mishaps, the exit and entry points will be strongly guarded by large groups of security personnel. Kamakhya temple's has hyped with Narender Modi's new venture of rail service plus increasing inflow of famous personalities. So the responsibilities of the authority have increased due to which 1000 volunteers have initiated to take the step in keeping the precinct of the temple under control. Provision of food, route direction, security, help and other necessary services will be regulated under the eyes of the volunteer. For the crowd is huge and people are many comparatively the security levels are limited. So the necessity of the volunteers is evident and implementation of hi-tech devices to avert possible mishaps.
