SBI's Welfare Drive on Ambulance

 


Now this might sound crazy, banking and welfare drive but recently in Nagaon district of Assam, SBI (State Bank of India)made a generous move by flagging off the Ambulance for BP Civil hospital service. This donation of ambulance was initiated by the group of Nagaon SBI division Chief General Manager PVSLN Murty and AGM Girish Chandra Sharma.

Along with this noble gesture "Swayam" passbook printing machine was installed with additional facility of a wheel chair for the disabled.

SBI on Plantation Drive

As an observation to 'World Environment Day' at Howraghat, Assam, SBI (State Bank of India) made a collaborative plantation drive with Howraghat Higher Secondary School by planting tree saplings around the complex of the institute.

Paying heed to intense global warming, the Howraghat, SBI Branch Manager, Sujit Sarkar on tree plantation drive stated, "valuable contribution to the fight against global warming and climatic change. Facilitate a host of wider environmental and socio-economic benefits."

SBI Branch Manager, Sarkar emphasized the young generation to involve in the green drive to make this earth a better place to live in.
