Arunachal Pradesh Youngsters Win Meghalaya's Praise

In a never ever event before Arunachal Pradesh's youngster had won the favor of a different state and became an inspiration for Meghalaya's electoral campaign theme.

It is in a race to show talent numerous young participants from collegiate level competed for the state level slogan writing, ditty (song writing)and painting competition under Chief Electoral Officer of Meghalaya,Election Department.

Strange but true it was Arunachal Pradesh origin Kago Kevin, final year B.A srudent of Union Christian college, Meghalaya secured the first prize for the ditty competition. Interestingly apart from certificate of excellence and award of Rs. 15,000 cheque, Kevin's lyrics inspired the election body of Meghalaya to make it as the theme song for 2018 elections. It is quite applauding that at such tender age he had created a trademark of his talent else he would have perished very soon with his cheque and certificate.

Another Arunachal Pradesh student who stood second best is Padu Dollo for painting and slogan writing competition. But then being able to become second consecutive winner from Arunachal Pradesh is not a minimal performance but a matter of hard work to secure it from favorite Megahalaya contenders. This 3rd semester BSc student, Padu of the same Union Christian college was bestowed with certificate of excellence and award of Rs. 10,000 cheque by the Chief Electoral Officer,Meghalaya.
