Covid-19 Scripts Street Play

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and John Snow India (JSI) along with HelpAge India scripted street play to bring awareness about the unseen enemy COVD-19 on the Occasion of Christmas at Harah.

Apart from street play to bring awareness, even rally was processed by the community of Jorbat at Borguk to highlight on precautionary and vaccination necessity.  “Vaccination with Hesitant people” titled the Covid-19 street play to motivate people to come forward for vaccination.

Strange Cold Fever Behavior Grips Guahati, Assam

Unusual sight prolonged period of fever and cold detected not only in Guahati but in low key note in rest of Assam where the Guahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) has notified 10 percent rise in respiratory ailments in comparative to last year.

Parents of school going students have configured unusual behavior in fever mode with more frequency attack short after recovery. According to GMCH authority this rate in cold and fever cases could possibly be due to negligence in mask usage. Majority of unmasked students are open to such airborne infection. And can intensify health if remain unmasked for long, as mix of wind, dust and airborne infection floating in the environment.

Dust and mix of cold wind has intensified threats of cold, the GMCH which is on close tap on cold and fever related issues have found this strange change for couple of weeks.

Manipur Iril Bridge Nagoi A Christmas And PM Vajpaee’s 98th Birth Celebration

25th December a day that spreads so much joy in Manipur, marking the grand eve Christmas and ruling Party’s former leader late PM Atal Bihari Vajpaee's birthday, the state Chief Minister N Biren Singh celebrated the auspicious moment by launching the Iril river bridge Nagoi of Imphal with great motive ‘Go to Hills and Go to Village.’

Manipur Revive Unique Traditional War Game

Cardamon spicy essence when applied to sports interestingly sounds strange, but Manipur has evolved this unique traditional popular war game recognized as ‘Lerii Kaphi’ that was once again revived at Pudunamei village of Senapati district, derived from Mao tribe.  

‘Lerii’ speaks the essence of Himalayan cardamon and ‘Kaphi’ is the striking act with cardamom stem which the Manipur traditional war sport details, ‘Lerii Kaphi.’

Well this traditional war game  ‘Lerii Kaphi’ is not silly stem sport, it hurts with severe cuts on the body of the players. This Mao decedent war game consist of 32 players, divided in two teams who are armed with sharp edge cardamom stems. Chief Minister N Biren Singh on the eve of the revival of the traditional sports, stated to recognize ‘Lerii Kaphi’ as indigenous state game.

Sweet Tangy Orange On Festive Way In Manipur

Assam Exceeds Auction Tea Price Mark To Rs 1.15 Lakh/kg

Beating previous mark of Rs 99,999 per kg, the ‘Manohari Gold Tea’ has recently fetched Rs 1.15 lakh per kg at a private auction which its proprietor Rajan Lohia from Dibrugarh base of Assam had to state.

The auction which was held on last Friday on the private portal ‘TeaIntech,’ the ‘Manohari Tea’ received a new leap for selling at such price that ever recorded by else in India. RK Tea Sales which bought ‘Manohari Tea’ at Rs. 1. 15 lakh per kg helped edge further its price from what was sold earlier.
