Even court seeks the need for child-friendly corner in the court where Silchar district of Assam has opened up a chamber at the premise of the new court on Saturday to attend the child victims/ child witnesses of POCSO cases.
Child-friendly chamber ideation emerged in the necessity to prep up psychologically and emotionally the child victims/ witnesses, to help them address in the court so that the gathering of public, police and lawyers do not frightened them. This evaluation and establish of child corner to help young to combat court appearance stress and to counteract the volley of questions from lawyers was initiated under the District Judiciary, Cachar.
