Manipur Tourism has set a new sense of inspiration to Northeast Tourism marketing strategy with the fetch of the ‘Best State For Promotion Of Festival & Fairs Award’ for the first time at 12^th annual edition of Today’s Travelers Award 2018 event in New Delhi under Domestic Tourism category.

All the states of NE region are slowly picking up the pace and Manipur’s marketing strategy can be a great inspiration to help this region to become India’s key economic player by boosting enhanced technologies and infrastructures. NE Tourism still requires time to edge up in promotional and marketing activities to boost its dynamic role in strengthening nation’s economy.

Solid factor about Northeast tourism is its picturesque destinations where even Union Tourism Minister KJ Alphons admits and thinks it should be allowed to be more accessible to garner greater tourist inflow. Manipur including other states of Northeast have the highest possibility to map India as the third highest travel tourism travel economy with its growing pattern of tourist inflow and development process.
