This is a big question among families who are affected as drugs seem to be fast spreading in Guwahati as each and every day drug cases are being unearthed from the city.
It is like a menace as the young and unemployed are vulnerable to free offer of drugs. Dispur area has soon become a bustling place for drug peddlers as normal people are engineered to make drug trading influential.
No doubt government has given in whole effort to stop drug. But overloaded flood work upon the security and the government seems to have energized drug peddlers. Current phase of concern is human trafficking due to flood which has overtly exercised on the security due to which now the drug peddlers are taking the opportunity.
