Assam Lekhika or Writer Committee To Make Its Flood Relief Attempt In The Severely Inundated Hajo Area

The female writers or Lekhika committee of Kahalipara in Guwahati capital city to make a field visit in the highly devastating flood affected areas in Hajo lower Assam area which is declared to be a famous religious ground for Hindus and Muslims in the state.


This flood relief mission headed by Himanta Biswas’s mother Mrinalini Devi according to its member Runumi Lahkar stated, “We from the Lekhika committee in which ever small way we could are contributing to such a huge statewide natural disaster. Any organization who initiate to visit flood affected areas need to register with  respective police station so that people follow all the guidelines and do not mess up with any health hazard situation. Even which our flood relief group is to follow the rule.”


The Guwahati Lekhika committee had remained devoted to various welfare activities in the state and this time has initiated major step to understand flood affected people’s plight on real ground and contribute for the affected people’s relief in Hajo which is fast growing up economically.
