It is neither too sunny nor rainy in most parts of Assam, lifting the flood scenario to an extent where relief and rescue works gettin fast on track to reach out to the most affected people in the state.
Guwahati especially seems to be busy with people organizing flood relief activities in every small to big areas soon after the weather became favorable. Small school children to old aged people despite their fragile condition all are with one thought how to help and reach to the helpless affected by flood in own state Assam.
In Assam it seems there is no room for joke all busy united working every possible way to help the affected people, it seems Assam government is not alone in this fight to restore the affected people as people from all stream of field ready to work in the camps and help them from trauma knowing that there is no relation.
Assamese people without waiting for any authority’s reaction are visiting camps to unveil the truth of flood devastation in the state. Assist personally to the people shifted in the camps from the inundated areas. But it does not mean breaking security’s guideline in processing flood relief works.
A resident from Barpeta was overwhelmed when relief workers from various parts of Assam flooded in the camp where he was sheltered. To bring hope to the needy, especially it was Nagaon relief workers with whom he was entirely pleased with their co-operation and care. Indeed he is devastated by flood ravage in his hometown Barpeta district in Assam but has not lost hope in living life again.
