This metaphorical theme based
project ‘Paper Bridge’ under Delhi based NGO called Sarvahitey who had already
established in 23 libraries in Nagaland with more to go to connect people on
diverse ethnic and language backgrounds.
It was first at Chingmeri village of Tuensang
district of Nagaland when a library was erected under Paper Bridge project. The
main objective of ‘Paper Bridge’ scheme is to promote and develop the culture
of reading even with application of update digital version to wake up people on essential
government schemes. So that people can take advantage from it and empower women
including career guide.
Paper Bridge concept library is
designed to retain books related to public demand topic. Currently under Paper Bridge project about
1000 libraries in Northeast have been installed with futuristic extension plan of
100 plus project implementation in entire India by 2020 end.
