This one-stop centre strategy in all the districts of Assam to protect women’s right and destroy crime against weaker section of the society has not proved fruitful as challenges are more and the present required support is not sufficient.
Earlier performance reflects that departments and NGOs handling such centers in each districts is not a successful initiative due to which the government is planning to install a single agency to network all the centre’s operation to bring more effectiveness in human trafficking.
