In a grand statewide
celebration to mark the glorious history of Assam ‘Chilarai Divas’, recollecting
how the Koch Rajbongshi Dynasty had helped Ahom king Lachit Borphukan to
eliminate Moguls domination in the region with conduct of various colorful
events where even Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal also participated to lend
his valuable mark on the eve of Tuesday.

tribe of Assam was enliven by six tribes to keep his valor inspiration to win
against all odds for state’s honor through conduct of play and programs. It was
like a people declared holiday on 19th February with people’s active
participation in Chilrai Divas events in Assam.
