Technology Loaded BOLD-QIT To BSF’s For Quick Hi-end Survey Process On Critical Unfenced Riverine Border Areas Of Assam


Taking on to a note on the tough challenges countered at the unfenced border areas of Assam due to geographical issues an intense technology based BOLD-QIT will be installed at such sensitive security zone to help BSF personnel ease out from 24 hours manual survey to crack faster crime rates in the stretch of 61 km zone area adjacent to Bangladesh border in Dhubri district according to Home Minister Rajnath Singh.


Advanced technology based electronic gadget kit based pilot project has been introduced by the Home Minister Rajnath Singh to edge BSF’s surveillance system in border area of Dhubri district in Assam to control cross-border illegal activities be it migrant or trading issues under the Comprehensive Integrated Border Management System (CIBMS).


Latest on BSF’s smart fencing surveillance technology kit is that its consists of sensors and microwave communication based networking, intrusion detection system including night surveillance cameras, OFC cables that will enhance the BSF control rooms to the border areas by CIBMS to ensure prompt paramilitary action against any susceptive indication. According to Rajnath Singh this initiative is proposed to cover all critical areas where BSF jawans faces hurdle beyond human control at the stretch of 4,096-km spread border area around Bangladesh.
