Meghalaya CM Conrad K Sangma Demands Detail Analysis On The Bill To Avoid Future Complexities



On an integrated NE stand up the Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma who was invited in Assam at its Citizenship (Amendment) Bill discussion platform on 6th March, Wednesday had demanded detail analysis on it to figure in alternative path against unfavorable clause that favors in the best interest of the northeast community.


The discussion on the Citizenship Bill was held to take general perspective of all stakeholders and opposition from entire northeast. To avoid future complexities after the implementation of this new Indian Act on Citizenship, wherein CM Conrad during this meet in Assam had initiated the launch of his National People's Party (NPP) unit at Guwahati base for further futuristic meet on the integrated issue as it is the main NE point to carry out the matter united to the Centre.


Meghalaya CM Conrad specified it is not from a particular angle but from multiple aspects of the Bill that can hold possible complexities in the future for which he had accepted invitation from Assam for NE integrated discussion platform on the Bill issue at its Guwahati capital base.
