technological process will be implemented to ascertain on the doubtful National
Register of Citizens (NRC) applicants according to the standard operating
procedure (SOP).
Latest decision on Assam’s final
draft of NRC the ruling BJP (Bharatiya Janta Party) government in integration
with the Unique Identification Authority of India announced about the implementation
of hi-tech biometric measure to help differentiate valid citizens
from the list of applicants who had filed objection to the previous
verification due to fault in process or mismanagement of accurate documents of
the original applicant.
