Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal initiated modernization
of Assam police stations in phase wise for listed districts to produce
sufficient smart police so that cases could processed and solved fast.
The newly extended and renovated Ghograpar police station
complex is equipped with modern equipments and swift net facility to process efficiently
multiple tasks at a time.
Scientific investigation and research process in
investigation departments are tediously time consuming for which special
equipments are required to solution complicated cases with fruitful outcome.
Expenditure worth across Rs 1 crore went on to give an improved outlook to the
Ghograpar police station and continue as same in phase wise for rest divisions
of the districts.
Indirectly the State Minister of Industries and Transport,
Chandra Mohan Patowary indicated security measures in police departments need
to be improved to encourage more multi-national companies to facilitate job
opportunities.
Chief Minister Sarbananda in the attempt to hype the police
divisions of Assam with latest technology for better performance introduced two
e-books to guide on varied sophisticated arms usage to personnel. In today's
complicated crime world security personnel equivalently need to be proficient
in handling higher technology based tools to counteract situation and close
case fast. Needless to say that there are more pending cases on crime than
fresh cases in the state where smart police through modernization of divisions
can be great help.
