Under the head gear of Prime Minster Modi’s Digital India
mission the government of Mizoram will discharge free Wi-fi signal from all
mobile towers to ensure mass benefit from it.
According to Lalthlamuana, Mizoram Chief Information
Officer (CIO) free Wi-fi service will commence within the radius of Aizawl
city. This major wireless internet connectivity will be initiated by the
Information & Communication Technology (ICT) department of Aizwal.
According to this attractive plan that is initiated by ICT
for the first time in Northeast will give access to all compartments of a
complex including neighbors where mobile towers are installed.
It is in attempt to reduce difficulties in swift internet
accessibility this provision has been futuristically planned by the government
to ensure mass access of free wireless connectivity according to CIO
