Possibility Looms For Arunachal Pradesh’s Tribe To Get Back Their Right


It is a long awaited battle for the Arunachal Pradesh’s left out tribes to get included in the ST category where the present government has made possible assurance of fulfilling their demands by initiating talks with Centre to amend revision of 1950 scheduled tribes bill.

The All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) who had forwarded petition for earlier ST Bill modification is happy with the amendment of Union Cabinet that is headed by Prime Minister Narender Modi is to include further more tribes of the state like Tangsa, Miju, Nocte, Tutsa and Wancho whereas Khamti to replace Abor ST tribe.
