North East India’s Medical Professionals Emphasized Pain and Palliative Cure Regional Base


North East India’s Medical Professionals organization in union with Indian Association of Palliative Care had conducted CME (Continuing Medical Education) knowledge enrichment programme on the demanding critical health issue like Pain and Palliative care to emphasize on the futuristic regional base specialty zone.


CME is just a brush up work to welcome such futuristic requirement of specialty zone with proper equipped infrastructure and skilled professionals to undertake such critical health issues like Pain and Palliative Cure successfully at home base.  CME Chief Guest the director of Dr.  B. Barooah Cancer Institute emphasized on the necessity of a regional based critical care centre of Pain and Palliative Cure to restore back patients with critical stage.


The CME on Pain and Palliative Cure Guwahati that was packed with 100 specialists and general practitioners from various zones of India to update on the latest challenge of this critical health issue for better care the Chief Guest Dr. Amal Kataki marked what the specialist in this field of job could do is to prolong the life of the patient when the patient undergoes inevitable death threat.  Dr. Amal Kataki stressed that under such medical challenge it is important to understand the entire process of critical care to minimize the patient’s distress during his treatment tenure.
