Tripura’s Big Move ‘Buddhist University’ To Drive South East Asia Students


Under the wings of International Buddhist Confederation the Tripura government of Northeast state has challenged to make a big move to accommodate international students for quality educational experience at its regional base Buddhist University that is signed for its set up.


Targeting Asian neighbors of Tripura that are under close proximity of it like Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Sri Lanka and Laos the state’s Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb initiated positive response to the proposal of the delegation from Buddhist Community to open Buddhist University to facilitate abroad students according to the International Buddhist Confederation Secretary General Dhammapiya.


Before that the legal processing has to be initiated to bring into effect this proposal of international university set up at the base of Tripura state. Tripura Chief Minister has to initiate the university act before the Buddhist community members take further the matter for central move to implement this educational project.
