Influence of Bharatiya Janata Party is strengthening further in Assam which is evident from quick exit of Nakachari-Zila Parishad, Pulen Chutia from Congress party including many other members apart from ATTSA and AGP candidates from Mariani of Jorhat division.
It was on 13th January at Jorhat Stadium venue where BJP committee headed by Santanu Pujari, president of BJP Jorhat district committee and Member Parliament of Jorhat parliamentary constituency, Kamakhya Prasad Tasa embraced candidates from various parties.
BJP which in entire nation has become powerful is quite happy to welcome Pulen Chutia , Biren Gogo and Bhupen Chutia from Congress,Taufiq Ali and Bidyut Gogoi from NCP, Mousumi Handique from Congress, ATTS members like Sontosh Kumar Jora and Atul Rajbongshi including Om Prakash and Ashim Kumar Mahili from AGP.
