As the nation is gripped under the sudden storm of ‘demonetization phase’ as a surgical strike on black money to restore healthy system in India, the United Democratic Party of Meghalaya request leniency to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on cash withdrawal for ‘Happy Christmas’ for its Christian majority.
This famous hill station of India which has strong concentration of Christians,
the UDP legislator Jemino Mawthoh forwarded a written request to PM Modi to
extend cash withdrawal ahead of Christmas arrival as it is a major festival
observed by its community.
