Arunachal Pradesh Banwang Losu Scripts History By Introducing Wancho Language


Way back 2001 who could have thought that a seventeen year old young boy named Banwang Losu of Arunachal Pradesh would like to script history in language by surviving a rare verbal Wancho dialect in words and later to undertake the biggest challenge to translate entire Holy Bible in his rare community dialect.


This is an incredible attempt made by Banwang Losu who is inspiration to many struggling still to give meaning to their verbal language through encrypt in words rather than depending on other language to communicate one’s feelings.


Before Banwang Losu scripted history by scripting in words for the first time his community’s Wancho language he had earlier worked as English translator later turning to teaching where in this advent he further enhanced his language skill. Later at the ripe age of 30 years possibly Banwang Losu was ready with his script of Wancho words to help 56,000 plus people of his community to transmit their beautiful verbal words in written form.


Popularity of Wancho words had started to hit the internet and web application due to which the 37 years old government teacher Banwang Losu of Arunachal is recognized with honor but it was after US based Unicode Consortium registration the search in Wancho keyword was made possible at search engine sites. Now due to Banwang Losu’s effort and dedication the English script could be translated in Wancho language to relate issues between two worlds.
