Swachh Bharat On Wheels!

In Assam Recent activation of the JNNURAM-II Air Conditioned Bus Service by Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal mentioned that this modified ASTC initiative is processed for dual benefit of boosting state’s economy and igniting Swachh Bharat mission in its remotest areas.

This mission on wheel under Assam State Urban Transport Corporation was launched in Guwahati by Sarbananda Sonowal who on to an unique move added value to this new transport venture by stressing ASTC to shoulder state’s responsibility to delver best for the people and  in branding the  region.

A great hand of applause should go for Sonowal who as Assam Chief Minister made a noble gesture to take a ride on JNNURAM-II Air Conditioned Bus and taking on to an extra length to make a concern appeal to the transport body to keep an edge in positioning region’s image well with proper bus maintenance, cleanliness, timely ply as per schedule and cooperative with customer’s woes to keep up to modern service ethics.

In addition to current operation of 46 air-conditioned buses another 58 will commence on road in the next phase if dedicated, teamwork and innovative approach made by the state transport body according to Sonowal.
