Yoga is no more a remote concept, adhered to Indian Babas like
Ramdev Baba but it has far spread in abroad where on this International Yoga
Day, on June 21st, Northeast participants are strongly over pouring
to make aware about its necessity.
"Foundation for a healthy life," indicating better
start up of life before succumbing to circumstances, Chief Minister of Assam
Sarbananda Sonowal messaged to the public, observing the concept of yoga
celebration.
To emphasize Second International Day of Yoga, about 1,600
paramilitary personnel of SSB including strong crowd of participants from
various sectors took part in a yoga rally promoted by the Indian Yoga Culture
and Yoga Therapy Centre at Nehru Stadium, Guwahati on June 20th.
This holistic health care program will be simultaneously
observed in Arunachal Pradesh also. In observation of International Yoga Day
about eight set ups have made in different corners of Itnagar, Arunchal.
Leaving no stones unturned to catch the eyes of the public at large, Ministry
of Ayush, Govt of India, is driving people from ITBP, CRPF and NDRF to promote
this event as a strong wake up call for health fitness.
All India Institute of Ayurveda and Ayurvedic Hospitals of Assam
will be given a new leverage to make the base of this yoga healthcare program stronger
as a futuristic investment for healthy future of the state according to Sonowal
the CM, Assam.
Even at Kohima, Nagaland this international Yoga day will be
observed at Ragiv Gandhi Stadium in the morning session. To keep the flame of
Prime Minister, Narendra Modri's holistic approach to health and well being
even Kiren Rijiju Union Minister of State for Home Affairs and JP Rajkhowa
Governor of Arunachal will participate to boost participants in this yoga drive
to bring harmony between human and nature.
