On the ground of materials like cement, bamboo and mud the Assam government is to decide the worth to be provided to the owner of the damaged house through DBT (direct benefit transfer) in recent flood devastation.
Total of 2,04,348 assessed to be damaged where the government under the norms of State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) decides to release an amount of Rs. 119.11 crore directly through DBT to the affected families where hilly areas norms of financial assistance is bit higher of Rs. 1,01,900 in comparison to plain areas of Rs. 95, 100 where there is still a condition for partially damaged concrete house of Rs. 5,200, mud or kutcha house 3,200 and huts with bamboo materials will receive RS. 2,100.
