Flood situation in Assam though has improved and people moving back from relief camps where most have no homes to go back the state farmers determined to get back to their field for work to rebuild their future lying ahead.
Lower and Upper Assam where water has receded to an extent, people whose livelihood is on farming are back to work. Moreover government is assisting such people with secure insurance schemes at low premium of Rs. 100 for 1 hectare crops.
