The Assam cabinet decided to remove Rajiv Gandhi name from Orang National Park as it would simply be referred in regional name ‘Orang.’
This park ‘Orang’ famous for the highest population of Royal Bengal Tigers in the entire nation was renamed under the pressure of various organizations like the tea tribe and adivasi of the region.
