Pointing drug trafficking, human traffic and cattle smuggle as some of the major crime scenario in Assam affecting large scale families to which the state Chief Minister pointed zero tolerance .
In this mission of drug drive the police department had previously had undergone multiple defamation and was mocked as ‘trigger happy’ policemen when encounters were made. This defamation to the government and the police department of Assam won’t deter from continuing their mission as thousands of families had been devoured by drugs.
Congress opposition counteracts CM’s encounter version not appropriate where certain doubts are concerned. According to opposition Myanmar’s ‘Golden Triangle’ region of narcotics still persist to which Assam CM Himanta replied that till the time of his service the drug operation will be never ending till they reach their target as promised.
