NRC On To A New Path Break From Assam Accord 1971

NRC (National Register of Citizens) on to a new path break from Assam Accord 24th March, 1971 to 1951 illegal migrant settlement cases to refrain potential damage as followed by former process due to intervention of a coordination committee lead by Assam’s indigenous groups.

Assam indigenous groups’ now fresh demand is for a new concept to reserve 21 “immigrants controlled” Assembly seats to ensure constitutional rights of the Assamese including rest indigenous people. To fight against indigenous people’s right a new organization has set up in Assam known as “Janagosthiya Samannwoy Parishad” that is lead by Syed Muminul Awal with support of 21 organizations of various indigenous communities plus Assamese Muslims who differentiates from Bengal origin.
