Proposals of 86 electric bus deployments
were precisely evaluated before going for 5095 electric buses implementation in
Tripura state under Project Implementation and Sanctioning Committee (PISC)
supervision.

electric buses for deployment on the city road had instructed each selected
city and State transport to process for delivery of the ordered bus on time.
Contractual rule for the deployment of electric bus from outside the state
should make 4 billion Kilometer run within 1.2 billion liters of fuel during
the said time frame.
Tripura after this sanction of 50
electric buses in the state’s capital city is second to take the lead after
Assam’s successful launch of 100 buses more. At present Tripura has sanctioned
5595 buses to its 64 cities. These electric buses of Tripura is to avoid 2.6
million tones of green house gas emission.
