Manipur in the attempt to popularize handloom has emphasized on the delivery system so that sales output grows and help open up more employments in its remote area which skill is followed traditionally from genre to genre.
Only difference is that earlier people had limited clients and so its market did not improve much but now the government has opened more market channels for weavers without having to wait long for the next order.
This mission is undertaken by the Centre to facilitate training to 10, 000 weavers so that once they adapt their skills in weaving can start make their earnings and help boost Handloom production and its economy.
