Assam CM Sonowal Would Not Comprise Animal Death Toll Due To Flood

A strict warning was given by the Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Sunday to the concerned department people related to flood control to be more proactive in handling flood related issues as maximum flora and fauna were affected last year due to displace  of exceeding water level.


Kaziranga National Park authority and staff are on their toes to level out to Chief Minister’s expectation as he emphasized on their proactive approach to handle crucial flood situation in proper manner with sufficient arrangement of necessary items to reach out to the affected people on time with provision of prompt service.


CM Sonowal marked to the wildlife department to initiate helipad processing before the advance stage of monsoon in the attempt to secure this UNESCO recognized world heritage site and effectively process development process of the park during the closure period from 16th May to 1st November

To avert animal casualties due to incessant rain and flood the Assam CM warned against any peak of animal death rates due to lack of prompt supply of food and medicines through joint effort of the concerned forest  and veterinary department official.
