It was a honor and privilege for
Assamese youths to take part in the India International Mime Festival rally
that was conducted at the Indian Mime Theatre campus at the (EZCC) Eastern
Zonal Cultural Centre, Kolkata on last month.
Mime artistes from Assam who had
enthralled the audience at the International Mime Festival 2019 were young
students named as Kuldeep Patgiri, Mainul Haque, Bijit Kumar Das and Minangka
Deka. Assam’s mime solo act like Save Nature, Mandir Darshan and Milk Man by
young Assamese artists were well responded by the strong crowd of the Mime fest in India.
This seven day event was flooded with pool of talented artists from entire globe. Popular national eminent mime
artiste Padma Shree Niranjan Goswami thinks Mime international event is an
ideal platform for young aspirant artists to express one’s talent.
