IPFT And CPI (M) Violent Spur Brings Doubt On Tripura’s Poll Security Arrangement

Spur of violent clash between IPFT of BJP supporters in against with opposition party CPI (M) candidates during their East Tripura tribal reserved seat campaign has degraded not only Election Commission’s set of rule but also brought doubt on state’s security’s management for this  year poll execution.

BJP’s collision party’s IPFT supporters who were alleged in violent act against Jitendra Choudhury from the CPI (M) along with rest of party people during the process of a campaign rally due to pass of provocative comments by the opposition party against the ruling party.

The CPI (M) leader Chowdhury made criticism on IPFT General Secretary as well as Tribal Welfare Minister Mevar Kumar Jamatia’s performance that provoked IPFT party people to initiate violent act against them.

Decades old CPI (M) rulers who hold bad blood with the new ruling party had previously made attack on five BJP workers in Manpathar, South Tripura followed with another attack on two other BJP people in Mandai area which have raised doubt in public about hi-end state poll security measure.

Currently violence affected zones like Taidu, Gomati district plus Manpathar of South Tripura is now in control where state security had to bring in strict action against the poll law breakers. Tripura has initiated hi-end security arrangements for peaceful poll process but now it seems for party campaign pacification process .
