Recently following with series of
unexpected invitation from Bordoisila cyclonic storm of Bohag month with
unexpected accompany of rain, dust, thunder and hailstones to make targeted
areas of Assam fall into miserable condition the state departments relating to
Guwahati Municipal Corporation, District Disaster Management Authority, Kamrup
Metro, Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority and National Highways
Authority of India are on alert to make integrated plans to avert and handle
situation with immediate action.
Sustaining land network is the
biggest challenge where alternative channels are targeted by Guwahati Municipal
Corporation, Kamrup Metro and National Highways Authority especially to keep
free to provide as major guideline to the people when major routes are left
suspended due to natural calamity.
Plus also to keep the traffic flowing and
smooth irrespective of multiple blockades that traffic personnel had
encountered during cyclonic rain lashes all over the state since it gave them major difficulty
in managing commuter’s woes.
