Assam Revives Eight Metallic Centuries Old Story To Restore The Faith

Centuries old eight metallic constitute Maa Tara idol was revived and so the faith of the priests of Ugratara Devalaya temple of Guwahati capital city, Assam back after six months search by the integrated Golaghat and Tihu police force through certain tip off from a captured bike thief.


Ugratara idol theft case which was registered on 16th November was headed under the Assam Police where ASP Surjeet Singh Panesar under Golaghat division had nabbed five accused involved in this crime identified as Adil Ali, Mintu Ray, Shan Hussain, Rahul Ali and Samsul Ali.


Before further proceeding towards the target area Doloigaon village from where the Maa Tara scared idol was recovered from the depth of a pond the Golaghat and Nalbari police force contacted Gauhati High Court lawyers for legal processing plus contacted the Ugratara temple priest for certain leads to help find out the hideout of thieves. The police handled the case cleverly by posing as antique articles buyer to negotiate deal in exchange for the idol.


Spiritual connectivity of this centuries old idol recovery is relevant  from the reaction of overjoy of the people of the area as the good news arrived before the day a new idol was about to be established in place of the original. People still believe the recovery of Maa Tara idol was on part of their intense faith and consistent investigation effort.
