Assam Collaborates With Singapore For Enhanced Skill Development


Recently the Assam government has signed off MoD agreement to establish North East Skill Centre (NESC) with ITE Education Services (ITEES) of Singapore to avail quality skill training for employment purpose to the upcoming huge genre of the state.


This NESC project which is under the Assam Skill Development Mission of Assam government and the ITEES, Singapore is to harness potential manpower to run the state successfully in all its sectors with qualified skilled candidates.


Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal who had initiated NESC project in Guwahati under central government’s 'Skill India' mission will have four segment courses with one-year quality diploma  training on hospitality, beauty and wellness, food and beverages sectors. Qualified trainers will be exposed to the vast job opportunities for national and international companies.
