It is right that every Indian jawans who had died lived the same consequence as Assam’s martyr Maneshwar Basumatary did but the last words that was encrypted in his elder son was that let your future become safe before the decision of voluntary retirement, knowing the risk of his security job in Kashmir.
Sanmati Basumatary the wife of Maneshwar the Pulwama Martyr always feared for his service in Kashmir due to frequent attack and bombardment though braved all the hurdles of life without him with two children left had no choice but asked him to plead for Guwahati posting. To which Basumatry planned for voluntary retirement by this year if necessary being aware not only about national safe guard duty but also about his child’s future.
The elder child of Maneshwar was pursuing higher education and there laid greater responsibility for him as a father and told his son that he will decide on voluntary retirement once after the completion of his course.
