Looking into Assam’s quality natural food resources and its production potential including Northeast, the central government of India has issued a new policy for direct custom clearance on its agri-export during Guwahati airway transaction to foreign allocation.
This newly introduced agriculture export policy by the Centre has added great relief to Assam export business economy as it helps boost network with chains of export based farm production units and for higher reach of international market. Primarily Assam’s main focus is on fresh fruits and vegetables exportation to foreign markets from entire northeast since it is the main gateway to reach the global market.
