It is true that local made liquor bases had been destroyed many a times by Assam security but with no clue of its root as to where to end the beginning of all cause of drug generation sources if the public do not keep a close tap to such illicit activities in the society then such repeated tragedy of 66 plus deaths in Assam will continue.
It’s is not that the labor category people are targeted, but also rest consumers are affected by local made liquor supplement. Matter of liquor tragedy where it is concerns in Assam history had never accounted such mass deaths at one time like in Golaghat district that left 66 consumers of poisonous country made liquor on the cremation ground.
Most of the deaths were reported to have occurred in the district hospital after the complain of complicacy by the liquor consumers at the hospital as they were not able to derive one’s breathe followed with vomiting, uneasiness and heart burn.
Phase of continued death did not cease even when Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma had approached the affected people of hooch tragedy in Golaghat district. The society seem to have waged a war prior against the illicit liquor traders before police swing to action as reports of public ravage on all the materials at the liquor bases from the where the liquor was supplied was heard.
Trio states of Northeast like Mizoram, Manipur and Tripura who already had waged a silent war against drug dealing materials but with not much effective outcome as hurdles are many against the evil of the system. Assam need to change strategy now against liquor license.
