Tripura Government On The Roll For Major Upgrade Of Its Remote Tribes

In major combat to uplift the remote backward tribes of Tripura the state government is to fetch a major financial support from the Centre of about 8389.71 corers.


The education Minister Ratan Lal Nath on this major development process in Tripura the Centre has directed for the proper produce of estimate figure on financial support to all the state’s departments for successful implementation of the projects.


At the current phase the package proposal has been passed through the council of ministers to the centre for the final approval. Before the sanction of the budget a high-level committee will be asked to probe into the matter and of indigenous people development in Tripura to ensure proper measures for development is undertaken.


The committee for Tribes Welfare Scheme under Centre headed by its Chairperson Reena Mitra, the secretary of MHA’s internal security had commenced a meet in Tripura to map the problems that are been counteracted by its tribe for pre budget outlay with the officials of political parties, government, Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council and local NGOs to ideate finacial strategy for successful implementation of its projects.
