New law for light weight school bags justifies greater weigh
study syllabus in today’s advanced education world but it has been made
possible by various education departments all over India including Assam with minimize of certain rituals.
Ritually home work is carried to the school including other
study materials but now it will be minimized with specific guideline to
implement language and mathematics in class I and II syllabus whereas class III
to V includes environment science along with rest. NCERT has greater hands in
airlifting school loads of the young children, ensuring quality education at
the same time.
No excessive heavy materials are allowed in school bags for
its various segments like classes I and II only 1.5 kg, classes III to V only 2
Kg to 3 Kg whereas classes VI and VII only 4 Kg, classes VIII to XI only 4.5 Kg
and class X upto 5 Kg.
