To retain the fresh memories of patriotism that fighters of Assam
Movement had exemplified with their loyalty and commitment for the state’s
honor and society’s welfare, the state Chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal recently
promised to bring out the crucial moments of it in printed words so that the coming
generation can revive the worth of their sacrifice for their better future.
Accounts of the past injuries to drive the Assam Movement have
been highlighted publicly with reverence
at the event of Sahid Divas conducted in Guwahati by the honorable Chief
Minister Sonowal with award of Rs. 2 Lakh to the victims of bullet during the
period of agitation and promised to preserve the precious memories of the past
moment by publishing an edition of it.
