GST (Goods and Service Tax) shortly has
taken a toll on customers with sleepless nights as to expect what bombardment
from Prime Minister Narendar Modi in the name of new policy Good Service Tax
launch this 1st of July.
Especially what max tax benefit and loss
could be expected on each product and service under GST regime concerns people
now after its implementation? Tension grips due to lack of proper guidelines to
people on new GST policy as it is a huge scheme which according to finance
minister Arun Jaitely is going to appear fruitful in the future.
GST ensures mix impact on most commodities without
any dilution on quality content of the product and intentional retailers’ foil
to rob money from the customers. Consumer must be aware about extra tax or VAT mentioned
at the total sum of bill’s end with 5% to 15% additional charge but unaware about
inbuilt of hidden taxes like Excise Duty and others that severely impacts
pricing process. Burdening normal people with higher value on products and
services including frequent fluctuation of prices that impacts directly on
everyone’s budget system due to which GST policy according to the government
has been planned to regulate such irregularities.
Present 18%, 28% to 40% GST taxes have been
implemented after exempting additional hidden tax charges from the actual total
price cost of the product to justify honest taxpayers.
What common people feel that Narender Modi government need to be more cautious by acting proactively in circulating information on GST or Demonetisation to minimize greater agitation due to misguidance in the society.
India’s max simple people or 70% Indians do
not understand fall out of heavy burden of hidden tax which they had been
bearing for decades.
