Situation in Nagaland has
become unpredictable due to failure of link between mass and government
authority where ULB (Urban Local Bodies) election that is to be conducted was termed
as invalid by the State Election Commissioner.
Recently Nagaland’s State
Election Commissioner announced that the postponed ULB election with
Notification No. SEC/MTC-1/2004-05/164 dated 21st Dec.2016 is withheld as ‘Null
and Void’.
