The North East Students’ Organization
(NESO) comprised of All Assam Students’ Union , All Arunachal Pradesh Students’
Union, Khasi Students’ Union , Mizo Zirlai Pawl , Naga Students’ Federation, All
Manipur Students’ Union, Garo Students’ Union and Twipra Students’ Federation
where Samuel Jyrwa heads the body stated if necessary will sit with Union Home
Minister Rajnath Singh to emphasize centre to restore Manipur situation to
normalcy.
Recently the Northeast’s eight
major students’ groups had joined for a meet on the emergency call for a
solution to restore the situation of Manipur that is left in disturbance after
the declaration of seven new districts following with economic blockade by
Nagaland group.
